« Martic » est né le 30 Mai 1970 à Valence, il ne commencera sa carrière en Ferronnerie qu’après un grave accident de voiture à la fin des années 90. La forge de son grand-père lui a tendu les bras et l’histoire a commencé. D’abord Artisan d’Art, il présente petit à petit des pièces Artistiques. Ses œuvres apportent de la nouveauté, de la légèreté, et un nouvel éclat à la Ferronnerie. Il apporte un renouveau dans ce domaine par un mélange de techniques différentes et un polissage savamment dosé de ses pièces.
Son itinéraire lui a fait parcourir le monde. Il étudie en France mais aussi à Dakar et à Londres. Il ira travailler en Espagne et en Angleterre. Mais c’est en France, quand il aura trouvé sa voie, qu’il rencontrera des artistes comme Serge ROCA qui l’inspireront.

“Martic” is a French contemporary artist. He lives and works in a village in the south of France, La Roche de Glun.
Martic was born in Valence on the 30th of May 1970. He started his career as a Blacksmith only after a serious car accident at the end of the nineties. At that time, the work of his grandfather, also a Blacksmith, called out to him and from there his new career was born.
Initially working as an artisan, little by little he began presenting his artwork. His portfolio brings a novel and rich approach to blacksmithing giving rise to a different generation of metallic design. His artwork provides a cutting edge approach to the craft by combining different techniques with a perfected finish.
His life experience has taken him around the world. He has studied in France, but also in Senegal and London. He has also worked in Spain and England. But it is in France where he found his way after meeting artists such as Serge ROCA who inspired him.
